Broxbourne
Our Broxbourne CSR project is the pioneer for Get Connected.
Broxbourne has led the way, being the grounding force which has developed our now first class service model.
The Broxbourne project was also a huge tool in the organic creation process which has shaped the Get Connected vision!
Some of our founding members are from the Broxbourne community and our 1st pioneering partner is none other than Broxbourne Housing Association - leading the way to supporting the vision to become a reality.
As a project running for 12 months now, there are over 100 organisations that have been engaged with. This includes some great connections with large corporate businesses and also lots of great non profit organisations and smaller businesses.
Some of the key achievements for the Broxbourne project are:
- Wills Service – fantastic small business donating time to provide free wills for elderly persons and getting great connections for their business;
- Advertising - over 6 non profit organisations received free advertising, filling valued community space for the fantastic Cheshunt Echo magazine;
- Room Space – over £300 worth of room space has been offered at one of Broxbourne best hotels, promoting their socially responsible image;
- Skills Development – numerous connections with local employers for them to get involved in local skills development and training programmes, enhancing their workforce;
- Event Management CD – event management company in Broxbourne are working with and sponsoring the production of an Event Management CD for local voluntary organisations, and getting some great advertising in return;
- Event Sponsorship – key event sponsorship has been obtained for local business start up events, enabling a leading hotel in Broxbourne to promote its environment;
- Cedar’s Park Event – numerous donations were received to support the great Cedar’s Park multicultural event held on 14th September;
- Equipment – numerous items have been donated to local voluntary groups, including stationery, furniture and computer equipment;
- HR Services – donation of first class services from a local HR consultant, bringing access to valuable skills development for both recipients and the consultant.
