Local MP Mark Prisk supports us to get local businesses 'Connected'
Over 40 local businesses and 30 non profit organisations from the East Hertfordshire area and beyond got together at this most elegant event.
The launch was a fabulous partnership event sponsored by the gracious Marriott Hanbury Manor and East Herts Council. Not only did we have a range of businesses and non-profit organisations, but also a varied range of size from micro businesses to corporates such as Tesco, Waitrose and Merck.
The key theme of all our events is to connect local businesses with non-profit organisations and demonstrate how engagement in community activities will bring business benefits and in turn support the local community, building its capacity and prosperity.
Nicci Statham, Chief Executive of Get Connected commented, “This event was an amazingly elegant and connecting experience, not only unique in its range of the different sectors - but also the sizes of businesses from micro to multinational. I am always totally inspiried by the opportunities and energy that is created for and by participants at our events..."
