Longmores staff bring garden back to life in community project
Friday 15th April 2011, Longmores Solicitors staff revive a much needed garden at Mencap home in Hertford
A dedciated team of staff from the vibrant and successful solicitors in Hertford, joined the staff and residents at a local Mencap care home to revive their overgrown garden and install vegetable and herb beds for use by residents.
The project was part of Longmores's commitment to local community involvement and support. Staff left their desks for the day and accepted the challenge. They spent the day clearing, painting and creating!
The project between the 12 Longmores staff and the care home was completed to enable residents to access and make the most of being active in their garden. The herb and vegetable beds the team created will be a vital part of their interactive outside activities - something they love to do. The Longmores team also painted the sheds and fences for the garden to have a real facelift.
