Tesco Head Office get back to nature to support the attraction of butterflies

June 2010, Tesco's Tax team at head office clear and create a much needed garden for the children of Broxbourne School

A 30+ team of staff from the Tax department at Tesco, joined the staff at Broxbourne Primary School on 10th June to clear a massively overgrown area and create a beautiful Butterfly Garden. The difference was a site to be seen!

The project between Tesco staff and Broxbourne Primary School is part of a project to develop the school's outdoor learning programme. The school has 245 pupils between the ages of 4-11 years, who have been unable to use a large part of the school's outside space due to it being overgrown and unsafe. The nature trail development will encourage the students to learn about all different aspects of nature and speccies.
