Tesco Head Office staff get recycling to support local charity

Wednesday 17th August 2011, Tesco head office do a huge amount of sustainable work to create natural walls and boundaries at sailing charity ESSA

A hard working team from the Treasury & Corporate Finance department at Tesco, joined the staff at ESSA in Nazeing to do some major recycling, clearing & building.

The day was part of Tesco's commitment to local community initiatives. Staff left their desks for the day and work incredibly hard. They spent the day clearing, painting and building natural walls & fences!

The project between the 23 Tesco staff and the charity was part of a big project to develop the boundary area for the local charity. This critical work completed by Tesco will enable the charity to secure their boundary and expand activities for young people attending the centre. Young people and adults regularly attend ESSA from local scouts, guides, charities and schools to develop social and physical skills.
