TescoTesco Head Office staff get digging to support local school

Thursday 21st July 2011, Tesco head office do some serious digging to create a pond for dipping and vegetable patches at Featherstone Wood Primary School

An enthusiatic team from the Trading Law and Technical department at Tesco, joined the staff at the primary school in Stevenage to do some major digging!

The project was part of Tesco's commitment to local community initiatives. Staff left their desks for the day and brought great enthusiam to accept the challenge.  They spent the day digging, creating and building fences!

The project between the 30 Tesco staff and the school was part of a project to develop the outdoor learning areas for the primary school.  This valuble work completed by Tesco will enable the school to provide enhanced natural learning and promote their healthy eating programme.
