Tesco Staff get challenged in community Project

September 2009, Tesco Staff pull together for a Welham Green based school challenge!

19 staff from Welwyn head office joined the students and staff at St Mary's School on 17th September to clear their wildlife area and renovate their outdoor play. The team arrived fully equipped to accept the challenge to bring these areas of the school back to life!

The project between Tesco staff and St Mary's was part of a programme of projects the school needed to renovate key areas to promote visiting, external involvement and develop natural areas for its children to learn.

Get Connected presented each member of Tesco staff with a certificate at the end of the long day to acknowledge their valued contribution to the Hatfield community.
